Tactus Technology, a US-based developer of touch interface components, has raised $6m in series A funding led by Thomvest Ventures, which has started investing from a new $150m evergreen fund.
Craig Ciesla, chief executive of Tactus and former director of optical products company JDS Uniphase until the start of last year, said: "Tactus is providing the next generation of touch interaction [pictured] and we are very excited to have Thomvest as strong investor and partner."
Peter Thomson is the founder and sole investor behind Thomvest Ventures and is co-chairman of the Woodbridge Company that owns a majority of media group Thomson Reuters.
