Business services provider Quess has agreed to acquire a 49% stake in Qatar-based infrastructure maintenance services provider Transfield Services Qatar (TSQ) for an undisclosed amount, according to Times of India.
Quess is a subsidiary of travel company Thomas Cook’s India-based outfit, while TSQ is owned by infrastructure maintenance services company Transfield Services.
Quess operates across four verticals: namely integrated facilities management, people and services, technology, and industrial asset management.
TSQ, the clients of which chiefly include the oil and gas industries, will be set up as the local vehicle for Quess’ industrial management division.
