Turner Broadcasting Systems, a US-based television broadcaster which is part of the Time Warner group of companies, has selected five companies to participate in its Media Camp 12-week accelerator programme held in San Francisco.
The five companies are: ChannelMeter (online video analytics platform), Cinemacraft (interactive media monetization platform), Meograph (tools to create multimedia stories), Plumzi (adapting television series for touch devices) and Tomorrowish (social media tool).
Balaji Gopinath, vice president of emerging technology for Turner Broadcasting, said: “Having graduated our first class last summer and launching Media Camp with Warner Bros. in Los Angeles this spring, we are even more poised to bring together startups and media executives in an impactful way. We see great underlying technologies and unique business models with these five early-stage companies and look forward to working with them on defining how technology is continuing to evolve the entertainment industry.”
