China-based customer service software provider Udesk has secured RMB300m ($43.5m) in a series C round featuring Legend Capital, the venture capital firm formed by conglomerate Legend Holdings, China Money Network has reported.
Hedge fund manager Tiger Global Management and VC firm DCM also contributed to the round.
Udesk has developed software that helps businesses automate elements of their customer service in order to save money, using cloud computing, big data and artificial intelligence technology to link phone, email, online and social media communication on one platform.
DCM supplied $3m of series A funding for the company in 2015 and returned for a $15m series B round led by Legend Capital in July 2016. Legend Capital had also led a $4.4m series A-plus round for Udesk in 2015, according to China Money Network.
