US-based online consultancy marketplace Evisors secured $600,000 in seed funding on Thursday from investors including Nebula Ventures, the corporate venturing unit for employer branding firm Universum Global, and angel investor consortium New York Angels, according to technology finance website TechCrunch.
Evisors provides a link between experts and small business customers via phone and e-mail, and launched the beta version of its service in September 2010.
In addition to financing, Evisors could potentially link its services with those of online properties already owned by Universum including jobseeker advice website WetFeet, career networking community Doostang and employer rating service Glassdoor.
