Unomy goes to WeWork

Co-working space operator WeWork has acquired Unomy, an Israel-based sales and marketing data platform backed by IT services holding company Leta Group, for an undisclosed amount.

Founded in 2013, Unomy operates a platform that provides business intelligence to sales and marketing teams in order to help them secure new customers. WeWork had been using the company to help it build its enterprise client base.

Unomy’s technology will form the basis of WeWork’s internal sales platform and its software will be integrated into its operations. Its team will join WeWork’s Sales and Marketing and Digital Products divisions.

Ron Gura, senior vice-president of the Digital Product division, said: “More broadly, the Unomy team will also help streamline sales processes, build robust sales intelligence infrastructure and close member prospects for our enterprise and regional sales teams around the world.”

Leta Capital, the venture capital arm of Leta Group, joined Altair Capital and Janvest Capital Partners to invest an undisclosed amount in Unomy through a June 2016 round that took the company’s total funding to $2.4m. Unomy is also a graduate of software provider Microsoft’s Accelerator initiative.
