Online tutoring provider Vedantu has paid an undisclosed amount to purchase a portfolio company, India-based online answer platform developer Instasolv, Livemint reported yesterday.
Instasolv operates an online platform that allows students to seek answers for academic questions, also offering a repository of practice papers.
Vedantu supplied $2m for the company in a June 2020 round described by Livemint this week as a pre-series A. It will use the technology to help its tutors provide clarity to users, and will leverage it for an expansion that will take in smaller Indian cities.
