Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN), a Finland-based telecoms equipment supplier, has transferred its fixed network planning, management, operation and field care services business in Finland and Estonia, including 80 people, to a new company, Boftel.
The Verso Spin-off Fund, which had NSN as its first limited partner in May, has provided initial funding to Boftel.
Janne Vartiainen is managing director of Boftel with co-founders Harri Johansson, Kaur Kiisler and Märt Keskkula.
