Visage Mobile, a manager of smartphones for companies, has raised $3.7m of its planned $4.2m series C round.
A regulatory filing said 11 investors had committed to the round in the first week of the month, with news reports saying telecoms equipment company Qualcomm’s corporate venturing unit leading the round.
In February, Visage raised $4.5m in its series B round from Qualcomm Ventures, and venture capital firms Worldview Technology Partners, ATA Ventures, Vesbridge Partners and Emergence Capital Partners.
Visage had previously raised more than $90m between 2001 and June 2007 before its merger with Agistics later that year changed its strategy.
