US-based sales software developer Vivun received $35m on Wednesday in a series B round featuring Salesforce Ventures and Atlassian Ventures, respective subsidiaries of enterprise software producers Salesforce and Atlassian.
Venture capital firm Menlo Ventures led the round, which included Accel and Unusual Ventures. The company had secured $3m in a 2018 seed round led by Unusual Ventures, which returned for an $18m series A led by Accel in October 2020.
Vivun has created a software platform that enhances the pre-sales process, taking in customer feedback and utilising artificial intelligence to organise it and use it to discover ways to increase sales revenue.
Salesforce Ventures managing partner Matt Garratt said: “There is a consistent rhythm and flow when you have product-market fit. You can only maintain that when sales and product teams are in sync.
“Vivun had the insight to realise that PreSales was the key to achieving that flow on a predictable and consistent basis, ensuring organisations never lose their agility and responsiveness.”
