Axway Software, a New York-listed business interaction networks firm, has acquired Vordel, an Ireland-based software developer.
Vordel said its investors were venture capital firms Elderstreet, Powerscourt Capital and Hatton Investments but said it had also raised money from Intel Capital, the corporate venturing unit of the eponymous Us-listed chip company.
Mooreland Partners was financial adviser to Vordel, which posted revenue of more than €8m last year, up 30% compared with 2010. It is expected to deliver similar growth in 2012 and 2013.
