AirStrip Technologies, a US-based corporate venturing-backed company offering medical patients’ data to caregivers via mobile devices, has raised an undisclosed amount from UK-based medical foundation Wellcome Trust.
In February, semiconductor and telecom corporation Qualcomm made an investment in AirStrip through its Qualcomm Life Fund.
AirStrip had previously raised $30m in a 2010 series B round and $5m two years earlier. Venture capital firm Sequoia Capital and healthcare provider Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) are its other investors, according to AirStrip.
