WorkRamp brings home $17m

WorkRamp, a US-based corporate learning platform operator backed by social collaboration software provider Slack, received $17m yesterday in a series B round led by Omers Ventures, a subsidiary of pension fund manager Omers.

Bow Capital, an early-stage firm allied to University of California, also took part in the round, having led an $8m series A round in June 2019 also backed by Slack’s investment arm, Slack Fund, as well as Susa Ventures and Initialized Capital.

Founded in 2015, WorkRamp offers corporate training software to help enterprises remotely train employees and teach new customers how to use their services.

The funding will go to strengthening a product range that includes integrations with enterprise software platforms such as Salesforce, Workday and Zoom. Omers Ventures’ Bay Area-based principal Eugene Lee has joined WorkRamp’s board of directors.

Initialized Capital and Susa Ventures had joined Haystack, Liquid 2 Ventures, Wei Fund, Y Combinator and assorted individuals to supply $1.8m in funding for the company in 2016.
