WPP Digital, part of the UK-listed advertising services group WPP, has invested $7m in Dolphin Software, the parent company of MySupermarket, a UK-based supermarket shopping price comparison website.
The investment is part of a $10m round, which also included return backers, venture capital firms Pitango and Greylock Partners, news provider TechCrunch said. TechCrunch added MySupermarket has raised $23.4m in its history.
MySupermarket has more than two million monthly users in the UK and is growing 100% year-on-year, it said.
The company was founded in 2006, employs 70 people and has offices in London, New York, Tel Aviv and Tokyo.
