WSO2, an enterprise software company backed by Intel Capital, the corporate venturing unit of US-based semiconductor company Intel, has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a third round investment of $10m,
WSO2’s clients include large corporates Cisco, GE, Kaiser, Fidelity, and eBay.
This latest round of funding brings the total capital raised by WSO2 to $20.5m. WSO2 raised $10.5m in venture round funding in 2006 and 2011. Intel Capital invested in the first two rounds.. The 2011 round was led by US-based software company Quest Software, which was bought by US-based computer company Dell in September.
