Xange helps Neolane raise $27m

Xange, the corporate venturing unit of France’s main post office, helped France-based marketing technology company Neolane raise $27m on Monday.

Venture firm Battery Ventures led the round, which was also joined by Neolane investors Auriga Partners and Gilles Queru. Neolane was founded in 2001.

Neolane said it had grown revenues 70% in the first half of 2011 compared to the same period in 2010, but did not specify its overall sales.

Neolane allows users to track inbound and outbound marketing activity, allowing users to target messages based on customer behaviour and preferences. Neolane previously raised $7m in 2007, according to news provider Mass High Tech from Xange and Auriga. Auriga invested in Neolane’s first round of funding, Mass High Tech.
