Health and nutrition product manufacturer Reckitt Benckiser (RB) led a $30m series A round yesterday for Your.MD, the UK-based developer of a healthcare management app.
Founded in 2015, Your.MD has create an app called Healthily, which assists users in monitoring their own health using a repository of medical information that has been verified by doctors.
The round comes after the company grew its users by 350% over the past year, and it will allocate the series A funding to expansion across the UK, US and India.
Your.MD had raised $5m in a 2015 seed round led by venture capital firm Smedvig Capital before closing a $10m round in 2017 that included Smedvig and Orkla Ventures, a subsidiary of consumer goods producer Orkla.
The company said this week RB and unnamed additional investors had previously supplied it with an undisclosed amount of funding in 2019.
Matteo Berlucchi, chief executive of Yout.MD, said: “We are delighted that our platform is growing from strength to strength and continues to attract best-in-class international partners that share our vision.
“Our relentless work toward democratising access to personalised healthcare information is progressing at pace and thanks to our strategic partnership with RB we are one step closer to reaching this ambitious, yet achievable, goal.
