China-based exam question database Yuantiku has closed a $60m series D round featuring IDG Capital Partners, an investment affiliate of media and data company IDG, China Money Network reported earlier today.
The round was led by CMC Capital Partners and New Horizon Capital, and also included Matrix Partners China.
IDG previously backed a $15m series C round alongside Matrix Partners China in July 2014. In 2013, IDG and Matrix provided a $7m series B round and in 2012, IDG led a $1.6m series A.
Yuantiku provides a mobile app for middle and secondary school students in China with a database of exam questions and exercises.
The app was originally part of Fenbi, a platform connecting students and teachers, which raised the series A and B rounds. The founders spun out Yuantiku in early 2014 and shut down Fenbi.
