China-based networking services provider Yunshan Networks has received $11m in a series B-plus round featuring Lenovo Capital and Incubator Group, a subsidiary of electronics manufacturer Lenovo, China Money Network has reported.
The round was also backed by venture capital firms Redpoint Ventures, China Growth Capital and Northern Lights Venture Capital.
Founded in 2011, Yunshan Network provides clients with software-defined networking technology which enables them to more efficiently program the configuration and management of IT networks, including operations hosted in the cloud.
The funding will help Yunshan enhance its underlying technology, build new products and develop the company brand.
Northern Lights and Redpoint joined Matrix Partners China for Yunshan’s $10m series B round in 2016, after both had backed the company’s $5m series A three years before, according to China Money Network.
