Tenon Technology, a Switzerland-based medical device maker developing implants for fixation of the sacroiliac joint, has raised an undisclosed amount in its series A round from a consortium including Zühlke’s corporate venturing unit.
Alongside Zühlke Ventures in the round were undisclosed US investors and entrepreneurs.
Martin Rutishauser, executive partner at Zühlke Ventures and chairman of Tenon, said: “This implant has the potential to be a market leader. The product is a perfect fit for Zühlke – it is innovative and builds on the latest medical insights.”
In March last year, DSwiss, a Switzerland-based data security provider of SecureSafe, raised between SFr1 and SFr10m from a consortium including local services provider Zühlke’s corporate venturing unit.
