Bullhorn, a US-based provider of software to recruiting firms, has launched its corporate venture capital unit to back early-stage companies in the sector.
Bullhorn Ventures will start with $20m for investments as well as a partnership programs designed to help startup companies serve Bullhorn customers’ needs, according to Hunt Scanlon Media.
Bullhorn has previously directly acquired several ecosystem participants, including PeopleNet (time capture), Herefish (automation and candidate engagement), Sirenum (workforce management), Cube19 (analytics) and Able (candidate engagement and onboarding).
Art Papas, CEO of Bullhorn, which raised strategic investment from Stone Point Capital in September 2020 on top of prior funding from Insight and Genstar, said: “Forming Bullhorn Ventures will build on our successful track record of scaling innovation and advancing the staffing and recruitment industry.”
Nina Eigerman, senior vice president of alliances and business development at Bullhorn, added: “We will build on this experience by providing capital to our venture portfolio companies and helping them scale more rapidly through commercial relationships with our global teams.”
