Kohort raises $3m
The round was led by IA Ventures, according to news provider TechCrunch, with backing from venture firms RRE Ventures, Contour, FF Venture Capital, and angel investment from both David Cohen and David Tisch of TechStars. The company has also received backing from KBS+ Ventures.
Japanese corporates back 500 Startups
The story y was confirmed by Transcosmos, in a summary of its investments, which shows it backed 500 Startups in 2011, after news provider Nikkei reported 500 Startups’ tie-up with Japanese start-ups in June.
