KBS+ Ventures, a corporate venturing unit of US-based advertising company Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners, has helped Awe.sm, a US-based platform for social data, to raise $4m.
The round was led by venture firms Foundry Group and GRP Partners and was also backed by existing investor Neu Venture Capital .
Foundry Group managing director Ryan McIntyre will join awe.sm’s board.
Awe.sm was founded in 2009 by Jonathan Strauss and Laurie Voss, and is based in San Francisco.
