Burrill, a US-based merchant bank focused on life sciences, has opened a Moscow, Russia, office led by managing director Irena Melnikova, who previously was a director of strategy and external innovation at drugs group Sanofi and a principal with TVM Capital.

Hub:raum plans Polish expansion
Germany-based phone operator Deutsche Telekom plans to roll out its incubator Hub:raum from Berlin to Krakow, Poland. Hub:raum, provides an eight-week accelerator programme and up to €300,000 ($500,000) of seed investment.
