Big Deal: GoPro and Steamboat’s fund
Media group Disney is understood to have scaled back its financial commitment to its corporate venturing affiliate, Steamboat Ventures, after strong performance in its portfolio caused the fund to be closed relatively early.

The final year figures for Intel sealed off another active year for Intel Capital, with 57% of the dollars invested outside North America.

Fuji TV rolls with fund
Fuji TV, a Japan-based television service, has started a Y1.5bn ($17m) corporate venturing fund backing start-ups that develop applications and services. Fuji Startup Ventures (FSV) will aim to create business synergies between its portfolio companies and Fuji TV’s radio stations, the recording business and mail-order shopping.
AppNexus advertises $75m round
AppNexus said its total funding since launch was $140.5m. In October 2010, AppNexus raised $50m in its C round from Microsoft and venture capital firms.
MentiNova gains Foundation
Foundation has committed up to $500,000 to advance this research and development to MentiNova.
Intermedia buys Telanetix
The $55m purchase price includes $13m in assumed debt and other liabilities.
Infusionsoft acquires GroSocial
Earlier in the month, Goldman Sachs joined a consortium investing $54m in Infusionsoft.
Casic starts RMB1bn fund

SK tracks Camero deal
Israel-based conglomerate SK Group has acquired Camero, a Motorola-backed radar-based imaging developer, for an undisclosed amount estimated in the tens of million of dollars, according to news provider Globes.
LipoScience resets price for rise
The five million shares to be sold in its initial public offering (IPO) will be issued at $9 to $10 each compared to a $13 to $15 range previously announced, according to its regulatory filing.
