Sopat examines its first round
Sopat, a Germany-based technology company providing a digital analysis of particle images, has raised an undisclosed amount in its first round of financing. State and corporate-backed early-stage investment firm High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Steelhouse Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing in oil and gas, invested.
SEB finds its Key Ingredient
France-based kitchen appliances maker Groupe SEB has invested in US-based Key Ingredient, which helps people find a recipe on the internet and adapt its format in order to build up a digital recipe book. The deal is the first for SEB Alliance, the French company’s €30m ($40m) corporate venturing fund.
