MuleSoft, a US-based integration platform that connects software-as-a-service and enterprise applications, has raised $50m in its latest round of funding, which involved investments from the corporate venturing units of US-based computing companies Cisco Systems and SAP, and cloud computing company salesforce.com.
Existing investors New Enterprise Associates and Lightspeed Venture Partners co-led the round. Other participants included Meritech Capital Partners and return investors, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Morgenthaler Ventures and Bay Partners. MuleSoft has now raised a total of $131m since it was founded in 2006.
The latest capital injection of expansion capital (beyond series E) placed the company’s valuation at about $800m, according to a report by TechCrunch.
