FIS Fintech Accelerator finalises fourth cohort

FIS Fintech Accelerator, which is run by banking technology provider Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) with fintech-focused accelerator operator The Venture Centre and the US state of Arkansas, has selected its fourth cohort.

The 10 finalists selected this year include banking platform developer Digital Onboarding, financial marketing and compliance software provider Gremlin Social, transnational payroll system developer Sendmi, student loan repayment facilitator ChangeEd and social trading app operator Voleo.

Regulatory compliancy analytics software provider Neener Analytics, health risk analysis platform Genivity, credit gamification system developer Curu, internal communication security system provider Highside and personal finance strategy app developer Mimble made up the batch.

The participants will enrol in a 12-week scheme to cultivate their innovative ideas, supported by mentors from FIS and The Venture Centre. They will each receive $75,000 in funding with the possibility of approximately $300,000 of follow-on capital upon completion.

Bruce Lowthers, chief operating officer of integrated financial services for FIS, said: “The pace of fintech innovation continues to accelerate, placing ever more importance on creative ideas and new solutions. The FIS Fintech Accelerator program is about bringing that innovation to life.”
