Boston Beer Company, a New York-listed brewer, is reportedly preparing to invest more on its Alchemy & Science craft beer incubator.
News provider Boston Business Journal said the company would invest $2m to $4m this year on its incubator, compared to $3m to $5m in its first year, 2012.
Boston Beer had partnered with Magic Hat Brewing co-founder Alan Newman to launch Alchemy & Science to buy or invest in other craft brewers, or incubate its own craft beers.
Last year, Alchemy & Science acquired the Angel City Brewery in Los Angeles, and launched two new beers in that market under the Angel City brand.
