Russ Conser, a veteran of Anglo-Dutch oil company Shell and manager since 2010 of the company’s GameChanger corporate venturing and innovation programme, has decided to retire from Shell. He is being succeeded by Marian Marino.
Conser said: “Marian is a passionate innovator herself and I am proud to leave the team in her able hands.”
Conser added: “I’ve decided it’s time for me to retire from Shell to move into the bigger world of innovation outside – where I humbly hope to have even more impact. I’ll be around in Shell for a few more weeks to help Marian transition. Then after a short sabbatical, I’ll surely be back in the innovation game… where my ideas are abundant, but the specifics of which I will further define during my time off.”
