VidSys, a US-based provider of physical security information management (PSIM) software, has raised $15.7m equity financing led by private equity firm NewSpring Capital, which invested through NewSpring Growth Capital, the firm’s dedicated technology and business services growth equity fund. Also participating were existing investors Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, the corporate venturing unit of US-based communications equipment supplier to companies and governments, and financial investors Atlanta Equity, Flybridge Capital Partners and JVax Investment Group.
Previously, VidSys raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Motorola Solutions Venture Capital in 2007.
