US-based programming technology company Apigee secured a $7m series E financing round, according to a filing with the US Securities & Exchanges Commission on Wednesday.
Apigee did not disclose the identity of the investors but signatories on the filing included representatives from investment firm Norwest Venture Partners, venture capital firm Bay Partners and Third Point Ventures, the venture capital division of investment adviser Third Point.
All have backed Apigee in the past, along with software firm SAP’s corporate venturing unit, SAP Ventures, computer networking company Juniper Networks, and web networking and programming firm Net One Systems. Apigee has now raised $65.7m since it was founded.
