Norway-based employee training technology developer Attensi raised $26m today from investors including DX Ventures, a venture capital firm formed by food delivery service provider Delivery Hero.
Consumer and technology-focused investment fund Lugard Road Capital and investment firm Viking Venture also took part in the round.
Founded in 2012, Attensi provides gamified, simulation training through mobile, desktop and virtual reality platforms for the employees of large corporations. The funding will help it grow its product suite and support expansion in Northern America and Europe.
Duncan McIntyre, managing director at DX Ventures, said: “Learning and development opportunities are becoming a decisive competitive factor to improve performance, attract and retain talent. We are thrilled to support Attensi to achieve its mission to make corporate training more effective and engaging.”
Viking Venture owned a 44% stake prior to this round, having invested an undisclosed amount in Attensi in 2018. It had paid NOK53.5m ($6.6m) for a 30% stake in the company the previous year.
