AXA Strategic Ventures, the corporate venturing vehicle for insurance company AXA, has invested €600,000 ($650,000) in Easypropriétaire, an online community website based around property purchasing.
Easypropriétaire provides a simplified process to purchasing real estate and offers support, tools and advice through its website and apps.
AXA Strategic Ventures is a €200m fund created by AXA to invest in companies providing innovations in the insurance and financial sectors. It offers investment to seed-stage and more established companies while also operating as an incubator and accelerator.
The unit has now invested in three companies since it was launched in February 2015.
Minh Tran, general partner at AXA Strategic Ventures, said: “Easypropriétaire will offer various services and products in banking, insurance, assistance, troubleshooting, legal, property search, interior design, moving, decoration, work, etc. around the theme of the real estate purchase, with a smooth and unified experience. For us it is a new form of support service on the web.”
