The corporate venturing unit of US-based semiconductor and telecoms company Qualcomm has reportedly helped the UK-based mobile phone application reportedly raise an undisclosed sum.
Blippar has secured the seed funding from Qualcomm Ventures ahead of an expected series A, according to news provider TechCrunch yesterday.
Blippar allows users to scan objects the phones of their cameras can see, which "instantaneously provide us with digital connections, information or interactive entertainment on our phone screens." It was launched in the summer of last year.
