BookMyShow, an India-based movie and events business backed by local media group Network18’s corporate venturing unit, is reportedly launching its own online wallet.
The ticketing site, run by BigTree Entertainment at the moment sells 2 million tickets per month,according to news provider VC Circle, which reported the plans to launch the online wallet.
Last month venture firm Accel Partners invested $18m in BookMyShow, buying part of Network18’s stake.
