Chope, a Singapore-based restaurant booking service, has raised S$3.2m ($2.5m) in its series B round led by local publisher Singapore Press.
Singapore Press said it owned 27.8% of Chope, which was valued at S$1.8m in the deal.
Arrif Ziaudeen, Chope’s founder and chief executive, emailed news provider TechCrunch to say the company hoped to “use Singapore Press Holdings’ media network to expand its user base” of 224 restaurants and one million bookings from customers.
