ClearEdge Power, a manufacturer of fuel cells has raised $36m in funding.
Since being founded in 2006, the company has raised $139m in funding, with investments from Kohlberg Ventures, the investment arm of Applied Materials, Applied Ventures, Southern California Gas Company and Big Basin Partner. ClearEdge raised $15m in 2009, $11m in 2010, $3.8m in a VC round and $73.5m in series E financing in 2011.
