US-based digital marketing company Lytics has raised $7m in a series A round led by Comcast Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of cable company Comcast.
The round also featured venture capital firms Rembrandt Venture Partners and Voyager Capital, both of which were existing investors.
Lytics has now raised $9.2m in total from a syndicate that also includes Nick Brien, former CEO and chairman of McCann Worldwide; Tim Kopp, former chief marketing officer of ExactTarget; and Brett Queener, former executive vice-president of Salesforce, and current chief operating officer of SmartRecruiters.
Lytics offers a marketing activation platform to gather consumer data in order to help businesses make marketing decisions.
