Crosschq, a US-based developer of smart recruitment software, completed a $13m series A round on Tuesday featuring enterprise software producers SAP and Slack, the latter through its Slack Fund.
Hedge fund manager Tiger Global Management led the round, which included GGV Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), Intersect Capital, Rocketship.VC and angel investors Klay Thompson, Khris Middleton, Aaron Gordon, Isaiah Thomas, Cameron Champ, Nolan Arenado and DK Metcalf.
Founded in 2018, Crosschq has built a software platform that pools information from jobseekers and people who know them in order to match businesses and applicants effectively. The capital will be used to strengthen its analytics technology.
The company raised $4.1m in an August 2019 round led by GGV Capital that also featured BVP, Klay Thompson and fellow angel investor Kevin Hartz.
Crosschq then closed a $6.5m seed round in July 2020 backed by SAP’s corporate venturing unit, SAP.iO, as well as Slack, Tiger Global Management, Rocketship.vc, GGV Capital and BVP.
