DigiTX Partners takes $75m for new fund

DigiTX Partners, the investment partnership formed by pharmaceutical firm Astellas and venture capital firm MPM Capital, has raised $75m for a fund dubbed Rx Digital Fund, according to a regulatory filing.

Founded in 2016, DigiTX invests in seed and series A-stage companies developing healthcare and life sciences technology that utilises data.

The firm’s portfolio includes diabetes management app developer Welldoc, cardiovascular disease diagnostics system developer Eko, cognitive function management system provider Savonix and medical imaging technology company Tissue Analytics.
