Entertainment producer Walt Disney has launched the second round of its Disney Accelerator programme, which will invest $120,000 each in 10 media and entertainment startups.
Startups will also get mentor support and network from Disney, and will become part of the Techstars network, a mentorship-driven startup accelerator established in 2006.
The three-month mentorship and investment programme is due to begin on July 6 and will conclude with a demo day on October 6, 2015. The 2014 batch focused on a range of products including connected toys, mobile video, social media, advertising technology.
