China-based smartphone technology provider Dreamshare Network Technology has closed a RMB100m ($14.9m) series B round featuring big data technology provider Aurora and Fosun RZ Capital, a subsidiary of conglomerate Fosun.
The round was co-led by investment holding company Mandra Capital and Haitong Creative Capital, a fund overseen by asset manager Haitong Leading Capital Management.
Dreamshare produces chips that can be slotted into mobile devices by electronics manufacturer partners to provide notifications and special offers for users through near-field communication.
Fosun RZ led an $8.7m series A round for Dreamshare in March 2018, investing alongside Aurora, according to China Money Network. It had previously received approximately $3m in earlier rounds.
