Private investor Rohit D’Souza and hedge fund Renaissance Technologies have invested an undisclosed sum in financial services technology company Quadriserv, which has previously received corporate venture backing from the International Securities Exchange and Interactive Brokers.
Venture capital firm Bessemer Venture Partners has also previously invested in the company, which has not disclosed the terms of previous fundraising.
D’Souza is a financial industry veteran, having been the chief executive of Citadel Securities and head of equities at Merrill Lynch. He will join the board of Quadriserv, alongside Brian Traquair, the head of the capital markets business at Financial technology provider Sungard.
Sungard and Quadriserv have agreed a new partnership which will see the former provide network services and operational services.
