US-based marketing software producer Dynamic Signal closed a $12m series C round on Monday, which featured the corporate venturing unit of media company Time Warner.
The funding will partly be used to acquire PaperShare, the developer of a platform that combines content marketing activity to generate leads and sales. Financial terms of the acquisiiotn have not been disclosed.
Media conglomerate Cox Enterprises, and venture capital firms Rembrandt Venture Partners, which led the round, Venrock and Trinity Ventures invested alongside Time Warner Ventures.
Dynamic Signal is the creator of VoiceStorm, a marketing platform that helps brands partner with and leverage the social reach and influence of their employees, fans and customers.
The company raised $13.3m in series B funding in 2012 from Time Warner Investments, Cox, Venrock, and Trinity, after securing $8m in 2011 from Cox, Venrock, Trinity and angel investors.
