Netherlands-based cybersecurity intelligence platform EclecticIQ raised €5.5m ($6.4m) in series A funding from KPN Ventures, the corporate venturing subsidiary of telecommunications company KPN, and venture capital firm Inkef Capital yesterday.
EclecticIQ’s software aggregates multiple sources of intelligence concerning threat detection, prevention and response capabilities into a single platform, incorporating the insights of security analysts into workflows.
The company, which is focusing its technology on financial institutions and government agencies, intends to use the series A cash to strengthen its base while expanding into other sectors and markets.
The series A round included the conversion of €1.5m of existing capital, and increased EclecticIQ’s overall funding to $7.3m.
