Etong Healthcare, the China-based operator of a medical checkup booking platform, has closed a RMB200m ($30.2m) series B round featuring real estate developer Dalian Yifang Group, China Money Network reported yesterday.
Vision Plus Capital led the round with participation from fellow venture capital firm Morningside Venture Capital.
Etong Healthcare was formed by health management services provider Etongonline Shanghai Medical Consulting in 2007.
The company has developed an online platform that provides medical checkup booking services, connecting hospitals with patients both in China and overseas. It also has a service that connects patients with doctors for online inquiries.
Etong Healthcare claims to have partnered more than 1,200 healthcare institutions, including 635 public hospitals. It will use the funding to expand its customised checkup services.
Etong Healthcare previously secured an undisclosed amount in a 2015 series A round featuring healthcare software provider Winning Health Technology Group and healthcare investment firm Cenova Capital, according to China Money Network.
