Existing investor Marker LLC, a private investment firm, and a new strategic investor, has invested $10m in a series D round for Israeli-based Extreme Reality, which provides full-body, software-based, motion analysis and control for any computing device or operating system via a standard 2D camera.
Chairman of Extreme Reality and a partner at Marker LLC, Yuval Shachar, said: “The company has pioneered the extension of motion analysis, creating a significant new market opportunity for game developers, and the technology is also being integrated into security systems to provide unique analytics of human body motion and anomalous behaviour.”
