Fair Trading Technology, a UK-based financial services technology provider targeting the foreign exchange trading industry, has made its chief operating officer (COO), Robert Bloom (pictured), chief innovation officer (CIO).
Bloom has been replaced as COO by Finn Jakobsen, who joins the company from the Danish brokerage firm Saxobank, where he worked with in the bank’s white label technology business, servicing institutional clients.
The new COO joins the company at a point when it has begun to expand. FTT agreed a merger with mobile trading application maker iPhorex in October 2012. No financial terms were revealed, but FTT now offers the mobile trading platform as a white label offering to its own institutional clients.
