Fidelity Growth Partners India (FGPI), an Indian unit of investment firm Fidelity International, has invested about $15m for an undisclosed minority stake in local educational company MindShaper Technologies. MindShaper runs Classteacher Learning Systems, a digital education supplier.
Classteacher provides technology and consultancy to Indian schools, through hardware, software and school support.
Kabir Narang and Paul Rai, two members of FIL Capital Advisors, the advisor of FGPI, will join the board of Classteacher.
Narang said: "The company has an exhaustive content library that can be leveraged beyond digital whiteboards, a reference base of leading schools across the country and a strong management team."
